As a member of the Avionics group, the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and testing FPGA firmware for Moon Express’ current and future missions. This position reports to the Principal Avionics Engineer. The FPGA Design Engineer will collaborate closely with team members designing software and hardware to find the best system-level solutions.
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the program schedule and providing progress status, managing supplier relationships for procurement and assisting with customer relationships. This position resides at the company headquarters in the NASA Ames Research Park (Mountain View, CA) and reports into the Program Manager (PM).
As a member of the Engineering group in Huntsville, Alabama, the Mechanical and Fabrication Technician will be responsible for using proven machine shop and welding skills to support A-Z fabrication. This position reports into the Principal ATFLO Engineer.
As part of the Engineering group in Huntsville, Alabama, the Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, analysis, development, testing, and integration of primary and secondary structures, mechanisms, and mechanical interfaces for the MX-1 and MX-2 spacecraft and associated mechanical ground support equipment. This position reports to the Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer.
As a member of the Engineering group in Huntsville, Alabama, the Machinist will be responsible for performing CNC and manual machining for fabricating spaceflight vehicle components and providing all the upfront design, analysis and tooling design. This position reports into the Principal ATFLO Engineer.
As a member of the Engineering group in Huntsville, Alabama, the Propulsion Test Engineer will be responsible for Data Acquisition and Control Systems, Instrumentation, Test Article Assembly/Operation, and Data Analysis. This position reports into the Chief Propulsion Engineer.
As a member of the Engineering group in Huntsville, Alabama, the Stress Engineer will be responsible for spacecraft system and subsystem level analysis of composite and metallic structures and mechanisms. This position reports into the Mechanical Engineering Manager.
As a member of the Engineering group, the Flight Software Engineer will play a major development role in developing and implementing the software for Moon Express’s lunar missions including the design, coding, testing, and ultimate flight operations of both flight and ground software systems. This position reports to Principal Software Engineer.
